As a leading CPA firm, we consistently faced difficulties in creating and communicating Assurance Engagement Letters. These letters are critical for setting expectations and defining responsibilities in audit and assurance services. However, they are typically dense and complex, leading to misunderstandings and inefficiency. In addition, we struggled with:

• Low Engagement: Clients often found these letters intimidating and dull, leading to poor engagement.
• Confusion: The complexity of the content caused confusion, resulting in frequent clarification calls and emails.
• Time-Consuming Process: Crafting these letters manually was a tedious and time-consuming task.

The Implementation

We implemented DocuStream to transform our Assurance Engagement Letters into interactive experiences. The implementation process involved:

• Converting the static letters into AI-narrated video explainers, highlighting key responsibilities, terms and conditions.
• Integrating talking avatars and chatbots for clients to interact in real-time and ask questions.
• Tracking client interactions and questions to understand their areas of confusion and interest.
